Sadly the Baltic Handball League cant contiue its activities for the 2019/20 season.

The Board of Baltic Handball League (BHL) has thoroughly analyzed all aspects of the wide spread of the COVID-19 virus and its impact in the countries involved in BHL. We have also discussed the situation with all participating clubs, still in competition of the 2019/20 season.

Unfortunately the virus shows no signs of withdrawal and the trainings are stopped in almost all clubs. Also the domestic competitions in Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania have stopped.

Considering all aspects, the BHL Board has reached unanimous decision that continuing with the 2019/20 season is impossible. Therefore the season is considered finished with no final standings and no winners or medallists determined.

Baltic Handball League would like to thank all participating clubs, supporters of handball, media and partners for their great effort and input. We look forward to many future seasons ahead, but until then wish everyone to stay safe during this crisis.
