Three games will be played in Group A in Matchweek 4 of the BHL. On Saturday we will see derbies in all three Baltic countries.
The Group A leaders will play against each other in Estonia. Raasiku/Mistra and Viljandi HC, who have won all four matches, will meet on the court. Raasiku/Mistra and Viljandi HC have met twice in the Estonian championship and twice in the Estonian Cup tournament this season. In the Meistriliiga Raasiku/Mistra won both matches by a slender advantage – 25:24 at home and 26:25 away.
Juri Lepp (Raasiku/Mistra, coach):
We have met Viljandi four times this season. We won both games in the Estonian championship but lost in the Estonian Cup tournament. Therefore, the result of our head-to-head matches is 2:2. It will be a very tough match because the group leaders will meet. It is very difficult to predict who will win. We are playing at home, so we hope that our fans will help us to win.
Marko Koks (Viljandi HC, coach):
If we look back at the all games between Viljandi and Mistra, they are all very dense games and that means there will be nothing easy. As Mistra plays at home I think they are little bit favorites. After the cup final weekend we were tired and some players were ill. But now everything is ok and we had time to prepare for the match. We hope to win and stay at the top of the table.
Kristo Voika (Viljandi HC, player):
The upcoming match against Mistra is going to be a hard one. Of course we don’t want to go there with any bad emotions, but i think they are a little bit favorites. They are playing at home court and that’s where they are most dangerous. But we have a payback that is personal, because we lost to them at our home in the Estonian Championship game.
Two Lithuanian teams – Dragūnas Klaipėda and Granitas-Karys Kaunas – will meet at the Lithuanian seaside. The Latvian derby between ASK Zemessardze/LSPA and HK Ogre/HYDROX will take place in the capital of Latvia.
